Ottawa, Ontario — The Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Member of Parliament for Nunavut, Minister Responsible for the North, and Minister of Health has a busy week planned as she prepares to begin the New Year travelling throughout Nunavut.
Beginning in Rankin Inlet, Minister Aglukkaq will then make her way to Taloyoak, Kugaaruk, Iqaluit, and Sanikiluaq over the course of the week beginning January 10, 2011. While in Rankin Inlet and Iqaluit, Minister Aglukkaq will be making important announcements on behalf of the federal government.
“I’m always very happy to be given the opportunity when Parliament rises to spend time with my constituents, and to enjoy the company and conversation with friends, family and fellow Nunavummiut,” Minister Aglukkaq said. “I’m excited to begin this year spending quality time in these communities during what I know will be a productive and informative trip.”
